By analyzing classic landscape paintings from different historical periods, this article demonstrates the evolution and expression of natural views and humanistic spirit in landscape paintings. Research points out that the humanistic spirit in landscape paintings is reflected not only in the theme and content but also through brush and ink techniques and composition. Finally, the paper proposes future research directions, including strengthening the study of contemporary landscape paintings, combining empirical research methods, and focusing on comparative studies of landscape paintings in different regions, which provides a new direction of thinking for the modern value of landscape paintings.
