Abstract
In the Colombian context, entrepreneurship training has been consolidated as a relevant need for social and economic growth. The objective of this article is to analyze the experience developed by the Pedagogical and Technological University of Colombia in the implementation of an entrepreneurial training strategy that leads to a culture of entrepreneurship in the community. Methodologically, a single case study design was adopted, descriptive with a mixed approach, based on the application of a satisfaction instrument applied to 1,073 participants, highlighting the high acceptance and motivation of the population, who participated not only in training processes, but also in different actions carried out within the entrepreneurial ecosystem of the institution. Direct observation was also used, which helped in the improvement of didactic material depending on the results obtained and the level of satisfaction of the groups and individual entrepreneurs who received the training. The importance of strengthening the UPETECA entrepreneurial ecosystem is concluded, following the actions carried out so far and improving the interrelations of all the actors inclined to participate in it, including external actors from private companies and government entities.
