As a field covering a wide range of philosophical dimensions, music education is not only about the imparting of skills, but also covers multiple levels such as values, educational goals and market interaction. The purpose of this study is to explore the philosophical dimension of music education, with emphasis on its values, educational goals and interaction with the market. In terms of the values of music education, we study its role in cultivating aesthetic consciousness, emotional expression and creativity. Music education is not only a skill transfer, but also a cultural inheritance, through the transmission of music history and background, to promote students' understanding and respect for a variety of music types. At the same time, music education also helps to cultivate students' emotional expression ability, so that they can express their inner feelings through music, thus promoting the growth of the soul and the development of emotions. Educational goals are at the heart of music education, and we explore their goals at the individual and societal levels. At an individual level, music education aims to develop students' musical skills and improve their performance and creative abilities. At the same time, music education also emphasizes the development of students' leadership, collaborative spirit and problem solving skills, so that they can succeed in music and other fields. At the social level, music education promotes cultural resonance and strengthens communication and understanding between different cultures by inheriting music culture. However, the interaction between music education and the market is also a factor that cannot be ignored. We analyze the influence of commercialization on music education. Commercialization tendency may lead to excessive commercialization of educational content and neglect of the core artistic value of music. However, music education also needs to adapt to the needs of the real job market and develop students' comprehensive abilities to enable them to succeed in the music industry. Finally, we discuss innovations and challenges in music education. The emergence of new technologies has brought new possibilities for music education, but also challenges in educational content and methods. Issues such as under-resourcing, diversity and inclusion also need to be addressed to ensure that music education truly achieves the full development of individuals and societies. To sum up, this study explores in depth the multidimensional philosophical dimension of music education, emphasizing its important role in cultivating well-rounded musical talents, inheriting cultural heritage, and promoting social resonance. In an ever-changing social environment, music education needs to be balanced to meet diverse needs and provide a solid foundation for students' future development.
