The effective integration of ethnic minority history and culture with oil painting creation teaching is an important field of teaching and research. This article aims to explore how to integrate the history and culture of ethnic minorities with oil painting teaching, in order to improve students' artistic creation ability and understanding of ethnic minority culture. This article explores the specific methods of teaching ethnic minority history, culture, and oil painting creation, including material selection, teaching design, and evaluation methods, to help teachers better implement teaching. The effective integration of ethnic minority history and culture with oil painting creation teaching can help students deepen their understanding and inheritance of ethnic minority history and culture, stimulate their creativity and imagination, enhance their cross-cultural awareness and values, and enhance their aesthetic and artistic appreciation abilities.
