Abstract

The effective integration of ethnic minority history and culture with oil painting creation teaching is an important field of teaching and research. This article aims to explore how to integrate the history and culture of ethnic minorities with oil painting teaching, in order to improve students' artistic creation ability and understanding of ethnic minority culture. This article explores the specific methods of teaching ethnic minority history, culture, and oil painting creation, including material selection, teaching design, and evaluation methods, to help teachers better implement teaching. The effective integration of ethnic minority history and culture with oil painting creation teaching can help students deepen their understanding and inheritance of ethnic minority history and culture, stimulate their creativity and imagination, enhance their cross-cultural awareness and values, and enhance their aesthetic and artistic appreciation abilities. This article also proposes some suggestions for future research, including further exploring the integration of different ethnic minority historical and cultural elements with oil painting creation, as well as conducting field research and case analysis. The results of this study are of great significance for promoting the inheritance and development of ethnic minority cultures, and improving the quality of art education.
