Abstract

This study deeply explores the multidimensional phenomenon and future development of dialect culture in contemporary film and television works. First, the use of dialects in film and television works is analyzed, including the frequency of use, scene selection and its role in character creation, and the film and television presentation of dialect culture is examined. Secondly, the unique charm, expressiveness and emotional resonance of dialect culture with the audience are revealed. Further, the inheritance value of dialect culture and the difficulties it faces are discussed, and its importance in the protection of intangible cultural heritage and multiculturalism is emphasized. Finally, innovative communication strategies for dialect culture in film and television works are proposed, and its future development in the context of globalization is prospected, including sustainable application and international communication potential.
