Creative Transformation of Chinese Traditional Culture from the Perspective of Urban Cultural Symbols

Abstract

In the age of globalization, the design of urban cultural symbol systems plays a crucial role in achieving a creative transformation of Chinese traditional culture. To promote this transformation, this paper suggests three dimensions for urban cultural symbol systems: visual representation, behavioral aspects, and spiritual meaning. By examining these dimensions, this study explores various routes for creatively transforming Chinese traditional culture using urban cultural symbols. This analysis not only reveals the significance of urban cultural symbols but also provides fresh perspectives on the creative transformation of Chinese traditional culture.
