Abstract

This comprehensive overview of Chinese music examines its cultural roots, technological advances, and cross-cultural collaborations, leading to its global reach. The story examines Chinese music's roots in Confucianism, Taoism, and regional variety. The tale then easily turns to how technology and digital connectivity have affected Chinese music. Digital platforms, streaming services, and social media democratize access and help Chinese musicians reach worldwide audiences. Virtual and augmented reality enhance immersive musical experiences, while online collaboration platforms and artificial intelligence revolutionize the creative process and cross-cultural musical expression. The study highlights the importance of cross-cultural collaborations as musical bridges in a globalized world. Artists from different backgrounds collaborate to produce harmonious fusions that cross geographical and cultural borders. International music festivals, cross-cultural education, and government/non-government support help these activities promote cultural exchange and diversity. Ancient ideologies and historical eras underpin Chinese music's evolution. Traditional Chinese music was tarnished by the Cultural Revolution, but restoration attempts revived it in the 21st century. Modern technology opens new doors to worldwide communication and creativity. These motifs are synthesized to show Chinese music's tenacity and versatility. Tradition and modernity, cultural legacy and innovation blend in its global reach. Chinese music is a global force that enriches the musical tapestry and shows how human creativity is interconnected. This overview summarizes Chinese music's many facets. Chinese music is a vibrant example of the strength of musical expression in a globalized society, from its cultural roots to its embrace of technology innovation and cross-cultural collaboration.

Abstract

Atherosclerotic disease significantly impacts patients with type 2 diabetes, who often present with recalcitrant peripheral ulcers. The angiosome model of the foot presents an opportunity to perform direct angiosome-targeted endovascular interventions to maximise both wound healing and limb salvage. A systematic review was performed, with 17 studies included in the final review. Below-the-knee endovascular interventions present significant technical challenges, with technical success depending on the length of lesion being treated and the number of angiosomes that require treatment. Wound healing was significantly improved with direct angiosome-targeted angioplasty, as was limb salvage, with a significant increase in survival without major amputation. Indirect angioplasty, where the intervention is applied to collateral vessels to the angiosomes, yielded similar results to direct angiosome-targeted angioplasty. Applying the angiosome model of the foot in direct angiosome-targeted angioplasty improves outcomes for patients with recalcitrant diabetic foot ulcers in terms of primary wound healing, mean time for complete wound healing and major amputation-free survival.
